Last month, twenty eight new volunteers joined the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (E.R.R.C.), most of whom are in the process of receiving specialized training to join the organization’s Water Rescue Unit.

The E.R.R.C. Water Rescue unit has been providing an outstanding service since it initiated in 2011 since the unit provided water rescue service at two of our local beaches;

This year, similarly to previous year, the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps were entrusted with the provision of ambulance and first aid service during all Nadur Carnival Festivities.

The Emergency Response and Rescue Corps is now offering the Tranport Malta Nautical Licence Course. Courses includes all the theory and practice and are offered both in Maltese and in English.

The past days were busy for the ERRC rescue swimmers deployed with the Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS).

This afternoon a man in his late forties from Australia suffering from chest pain was assisted by the Lifeguards of the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps at Blue Lagoon in Comino.
