Fire Warden / Fire Marshal Training

Aims and objectives:
- To train participants to be able to spot fire hazards and control personnel during evacuation.
- To understand the role of the Fire Warden
- How to take basic fire preventive measures
- To understand the importance of fire drills
- To explain how to take control of an evacuation
- To do first aid fire fighting – practice how to use fire extinguishers, and fire blankets
Course contents
This course covers more in depth knowledge then the basic course. Topics include:
- The Triangle of Fire, Types of Fire & Causes of Fire
- Extinguishing Fire, Basic Fire Prevention.
- Actions to be Taken in the Event of Fire.
- Fire Extinguishers use, service and maintenance
- Responsibilities of a Fire Warden/Marshall.
- Checking Fire Fighting Equipment within your Workplace.
- Fire risk assessment , Evacuation drill,
- Escape Routes (Means of escape) and their Importance.
- Fire Notices and Signs, Assembly Points and Role Calls.
- In-depth Fire Prevention.
- Proactive and Reactive Role of a Fire Warden/Marshall.
- Signage
- Practical sessions, including fire drill evacuation
- Human behavior in fire

- emergency moves and rescue form a smoke filled room (artificial smoke)
