This course has been developed to give individuals the basic level knowledge required to
conduct first aid upon their canine companions.

Note: This award does not qualify the individual to operate in any way as a canine nurse

• CPR awareness
• Bleeding
• Fractures
• Burns
• Shock
• Pad, eye and ear injuries
• Heat stroke
• Bites, stings and ticks
• Diarrhoea and vomiting

Course duration 6 hours

Assessment practical and written examination
