Watch: Lifeguards – keeping you safe on our beaches

With beach activity in full swing, there are 30 lifeguards stationed in Gozo and Comino to safeguard people’s lives. Last year alone, the lifeguards on these two islands intervened on 1,700 different cases ranging from very small incidents to serious ones.

ERRC continues to strengthen its resources to help those who need assistance

At the end of August, the voluntary organisation, Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (ERRC) continued to strengthen its resources with the use of a hydro-ambulance and a rescue jet ski. On Victory Day, a TVM crew sailed on one of these vessels to follow the work of the ERRC up close.
