Drone Project

The use of drones is highly effective when searching large areas of open space especially when the lost person requires emergency services. The E.R.R.C. volunteers are trained to deploy specialised drones enabled with GPS locations and high-definition cameras.

The ERRC CADETS have recently completed a project with regards to training on the use of drones for SAR and surveillance.

Thanks to FlyRyte Drone Academy, DroneSAR for their support. This project will see ERRC working with Malta Police, Civil protection, University of Malta and Planing.

The purchasing of the ERRC Cadets equipment was funded by the the Gozo NGO Grants 2017
